Vehicle and Traffic Law 510:
Aggravated Unlicensed Operation (AUO)

Aggravated Unlicensed Operation (AUO): In New York State, a person caught driving with a suspended or revoked license will be ticketed with an AUO. There are many reasons why a New York State would suspend or revoke someones license, and a lot of them have nothing to do with driving a vehicle. For example, a drives license can be suspended for not paying child support, or bouncing a bad check at the NY Department of Motor vehicles. Others reasons include failing to pay a fine, failing to answer a traffic ticket, driving without insurance, having too many points on your license within 18 months, refusing to submit to a chemical test, etc.

Why Hire An Attorney

AUO is a criminal offense, you will be required to appear in front of a judge. Hiring a skilled attorney will provide you with the advantage of having a professional cross-examine the evidence against you. Call attorney Patrick McLaughlin at (716) 536-0589 for a FREE initial review of your case.
